This section is intended for established patients of our office. Below are detailed descriptions of some of the many supplements that we make available. Not all of the supplements we recommend are on this list - as we may discontinue or add supplements, as appropriate.

Our practitioners painstakingly research all supplements that we dispense. We take a great deal of time determining each person's individual needs and balance various supplements for optimal results.

Adreset*
This herbal formula aids the body in adapting to stressful challenges presented by the environment and helps reduce the negative effects of stress by stimulating immune functions. The herbs in this product are adaptogens, which means that they help to increase energy, restfull sleep, mental clarity, and perception gently. The product contains Cordyceps mycelium extract, Asian Ginseng Root Extract, and Rhodiola Root Extract.

AdvaClear*
This supplement contains a variety of nutritional products, which help enhance the activities of several liver detoxification enzymes thus promoting balanced activity of phase I and phase II detoxification pathways. Other nutritional ingredients help protect against free radical generated phase I detoxification and also has potent antioxidant properties. Several herbs have been added for additional support, which include silymarin, catechins, artichoke leaf extract, watercress whole plants, and ellagic acid.

Azeo-Pangen*
A comprehensive enzyme complex with carbohydrate, fat, and protein digesting enzymes. Processed under special conditions to protect enzyme integrity. Enzymes are important for digestive capacity and also for overall metabolic health.

Bio-Pure Protein*
A whey protein concentrate containing immunoglobins (antibodies) that promote healthy immune function.

BioSom*
This supplement provides DHEA (dehydroepiandrosterone) in a liposome-microscopic, multi-layered formulation allowing for superior absorption. DHEA in its active form DHEA sulfate may promote healthy adrenal function, may enhance growth, or may enhance hormone levels including insulin-like growth factor (IGF-1), may help promote immune function, bone mass, body composition, and a general healthy well being and mood. Synergistic elements such as Stevia leaf extract as well as grapefruit seed extract have been added for improved potency.

Black Cohosh Plus*
Designed to support women during the menstrual phase of life. Black Cohosh is a phytoestrogenic herb traditionally used by Native American women during menopause for relief of menopausal symptoms such as hot flashes combined with lemon balm and motherwort, herbs traditionally used in Europe and Asia to ease tension and support relaxation. This herbal combination has a long history of clinical use. Importantly, this nutritional formula does not contain estrogen.

Cal Apatite with boron*
Bone support formula containing calcium-rich microcrystalline hydroxyapatite concentrate (MCHC), a complex crystalline compound composed primarily of calcium, phosphorous, delicate organic factors, and protein matrix, and a full spectrum of trace minerals that naturally support bone health.

CandiBactin-AR*
An essential herbal oil concentrate that helps promote healthy digestion and immune function. This supplement contains red thyme oil, oregano leaf extract, and sage leaf in standardized amounts. The herbs contained in this formula have proven beneficial effects upon the eradication of fungal organisms such as Candida and Albicans.

CandiBactin-BR*
Supports immune function and encourages the body to purge unwanted compounds. Contains Coptis Root & Rhizome Extract, Barbarry Root Extract and Berberine sulfate. Promotes healthy intestinal microbial balance and normal liver and gallbladder function.

Candicin*
This supplement contains five key herbs to support healthy intestinal function with antifungal effects including: Grapefruit seed extract, black walnut hull, slippery elm bark, golden seal root, and bearberry leaf.

Cell Protect*
This product combines d-limonene oil and lycopene in an oil suspension with dry herbal extracts. Research demonstrates that lycopene mixed with oil is more bioavailable than lycopene found in raw tomatoes. The herb curcumin and epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG) from green tea has a synergistic effect. This product is important for promoting healthy function of ageing cells, thus optimizing the performance of organs and also helps protect DNA from degenerative stressors (oxidation). Extra protection for hormone-sensitive tissues such as breast, prostate, colon and lung has been demonstrated. Supports detoxification of estrogenic compounds in the environment and those made in the body.

Cenitol*
This product helps to support overall nervous system function due to its content of myoinositol, which is important for cell membranes. This chemical has a role in cell signaling, as it is a precursor to important messenger systems in the central nervous system, particularly in the brain. Inositol helps support the proper influence of serotonin and norepinephrine in the brain, which may help promote mood and other cellular processes. It also contains magnesium and citric acid, which are synergistic. Inositol may protect nerve cells by preventing the aggregation of amyloid found in conditions such as Parkinson's disease and other neurodegenerative-immune diseases.

CelaPro*
This formula is a combination of herbal extracts and phytochemicals (plants) that help protects tissues from free radical damage. Protection from such damage promotes healthy ageing of cells, enhanced organ function, provides protection for hormone-sensitive tissue such as breast, prostate, colon, and lung, and supports detoxification of substances such as nitrosamines and estrogenic compounds. This formula also provides one of the highest standardized amounts of d-limonene on the market, which is from green tea.

Ceralin*
Ceralin contains nutrients, which help support brain function and healthy methylation, cytokine and oxidant balance, mitochondrial function, and endocrine regulation. It contains ginkgo leaf extract, lutein, resveratrol from Polygonum cuspidatum root extract, and acetyl-L-carnitine, and N-acetylcysteine. Chasteberry Plus*
For supporting healthy hormonal balance in women throughout their childbearing and menopausal years. The fruit and seeds of chasteberry, which were observed by the ancient Greeks to promote women's reproductive health, appear to support both progesterone and prolactin synthesis blended with Ayurvedic adaptogenic herbs such as shatavari and ashwagandha that have a long history of use in supporting women's health.

Chlorotene*
Contains several key carotinoids derived from Dunaliella algae and chlorophyll for optimal antioxidant protection including: Trans-beta-carotene, C-cis-beta-carotene, Lutein, and others.

Cholarest*
This product delivers natural support for healthy blood fats and helps protect blood vessel function. It may inhibit the production of thromboxane A2 and B2, which have demonstrated beneficial effects upon lining of blood vessels. The active ingredient in this product is Apisol from Policosanol, which promotes prostacyclin levels and healthy platelet function, blood flow, and arterial function. Finally, prevention of lipid peroxidation of LTL further protects arterial walls.

Collagenics*

CoQ 10*
Essential for energy production and is of particular importance for the maintenance of cardiovascular health. CoQ 10 has potent antioxidant properties and cell membrane stabilizing effect, is cardiosupportive, and may help maintain healthy blood circulation.

E complex 1:1*
Natural vitamin E supplement that features a 1:1 ratio of alpha to gamma tocopherol, which more closely resembles the tocopherol profile found naturally in vitamin E-rich plants. Along with alpha tocopherol, gamma tocopherol appears to play an important role in protecting against the oxidation of lipids caused by peroxynitrite, a powerful oxidant that is associated with aging. Also includes delta tocopherol designed to provide the antioxidant and cardiovascular benefits that come from consuming a comprehensive family of tocopherols.

Endefen*
This product is uniquely designed to support the GI tract, the immune system, metabolism, and cellular health. Contains arabinogalactans derived from the bark of a larch tree provides excellent GI support for Bifidobacterium and Lactobacillus and also increases short S-chain fatty acid production minimizing Clostridia. It enhances the ability of cells to fight infections and increases natural killer cell activity. It also contains phosphatidylcholine from lecithin protecting the gastric mucosa. Plantain fruit is also provided which has been used to stimulate gastric mucus secretion and growth of the gastric mucosal cells. The flavonoids in this product can increase the thickness of the mucosal layer. Plantain lectins may also recognize and bind some mannose oligosaccharides that cover some bacteria decreasing their attachment to the gastric and intestinal lining. The green tea and its constituents contained in this product known as catechins or flavonoids that promote healthy GI microflora and also have antioxidant effects. Studies have shown that 300 mg per day of catechins increases Bifidobacterium and Lactobacillus levels. The antioxidants, vitamin C and carotenoids, together have been shown to promote healthy gastroduodenal mucosa. The antioxidant, Astaxanthin, decrease bacterial load in animals. Vitamin C helps promote healthy gastric mucosa as it is actively secreted in the gastric lumen in healthy individuals. Rice bran fiber promotes the growth of commensal bacteria in the gut and decreases harmful beta-glucuronidase, mucinase, and nitro-reductase activities and increases bile excretion. Mannose has been shown to bind to the GI mucosa promoting a healthy environment.

Energetics*
Support for healthy thyroid function and proper metabolism for thyroid hormones. The thyroid gland produces thyroxin, an important hormone that regulates the body's basal metabolic rate. Optimum thyroid function helps to maintain normal weight, energy levels, and mental alertness.

EPA-DHA*
A totally natural source of omega-3 essential fatty acids, eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA), docosahexaenoic acid (DHA), concentrated from cold-water fish oil. EPA and DHA are polyunsaturated fatty acids that nutritionally support cardiovascular health and help maintain healthy triglyceride and other blood lipid levels. It promotes healthy cellular balance of these essential fatty acids and supports healthy balanced ecosanoid synthesis. A healthy balance of ecosanoids supports proper cardiovascular, nervous, and immune function. Cholesterol-free and assayed for peroxides and environmental contaminants to ensure quality and purity.

EstroBalance*
Produced as a comprehensive nutritional drink in a powdered form. EstroBalance contains essential nutrients necessary for hormonal balance. Ginkgo-RoseOx*
Supports healthy mental function by combining Ginkgo Biloba with unique extract of rosemary leaf known as RoseOx. Ginkgo may increase cerebral blood circulation and helps support mental alertness and memory especially in older persons. Combined with rosemary leaf for enhanced antioxidant support to help maintain cell membranes. The Ginkgo Biloba is standardized to contain 24% ginkgoflavonglycosides and 6% terpene lactones, levels consistent with human clinical trials. This product features borage seed oil, which has almost five times the amount of gamma-linolenic acid found in evening primrose oil.
